I Biggest Loser- Ganging Up On Adrian

Friday, February 10th, 2012

Ok all,

I had just told Bob how proud I was of how his black team had treated Daphne versus how the red team has treated Adrian. Then I come across this video and right now I am disgusted with almost every contestant on teh Biggest Loser right now.

I am working on my post about Tuesday night’s Biggest Loser but I keep getting more and more comments and info about what is going on at the Biggest Loser ranch and I want to process it all and then get my post finished up before I add it here. My plan right now is to post it on Saturday. I have a whole bunch of comments to get through and this video REALLY upset me.

Everyone is so negative about Adrian but I don’t see that anything that he did was that bad, especially when you look at how they have all been treating him.

As I told Bob, I think that sending Adrian home was a shame on the red team but a blessing for Adrian because I know that I couldn’t stand it to be around people that were treating me the way that they have been treating Adrian.

This guy seems like a nice guy. He helps kids for cripe sakes! Can he be that bad that these people can’t at least be civil towards him?

I will say, in their defense, that Bob brought up about how they are all put together and are without their “drug of choice-food” as he says. I didn’t think of it taht way but I guess that could explain some of the negativity and drama on the Biggest Loser.

BUT, I think that Conda is a huge part of the problem. The way I am seeing it right now it looks like she is the worst one and she seems to like the drama as well as stirring up trouble.

It seems that where-ever Conda goes trouble follows. The more she talks it seems the more people are against Adrian.

I have to wonder if she will start on Daphne next?

I hate to say it but I am sure that I can’t be the only one thinking it and wondering. Is Conda so against Adrian because he is black?

From the previews of next Tuesdays show it looks like she will be going head to head with Daphne. Is it her mission to get the black couple off the show?

I don’t know. I am NOT saying that this is a fact. It is just a thought that has crossed my mind and am I left wondering why she seems to have so much hatred towards the only black team on the Biggest Loser ranch.

I also think that everyone has forgotten that Adrian and Daphne have only been at the Biggest Loser for 2 weeks compared with everyone elses 6 weeks. Is it any wonder that maybe they aren’t doing everything at the same speed and difficulty as the rest?

Anyway, here is the video. I will be back soon with lots of comments of my own as well as from people all over the US that watch Biggest Loser.

Ganging Up On Adrian Video

For anyone that cannot stand Conda and her attitude  I have a good comment that fits to a ‘T’ that made me laugh. I think you will too.

Biggest Loser season 13 week 5

Friday, February 3rd, 2012

I forgot that the contestants were not there when Allison told the aqua team about their opportunity to come back to the Biggest Loser Ranch.

From what we have been seeing of them it looks like this brother and sister team really wants to be back on the ranch.

Daphne 37 years old-starting weight 271-26=245

Adrian  34 years old  370-34=336

They lost a total of 60 pounds on their own at home!

I think that for basically doing this on their own without even getting to step within the walls of the Biggest Loser Ranch that they did a really good job J

Now I hear Conda and Kim making comments, and yes some others did too but for the most part it was them.

Kim was upset because the aqua team was celebrating their return to the ranch. I am sure that if her team had been in their place that they would have been celebrating getting to actually be on the Biggest Loser Ranch just the same. After being there for 5 weeks I think she has forgotten just how excited they all were to be there that first day. So she begrudges the aqua team their moments of celebration?

That’s a bit sad really. They had their time to cheer and be happy about being there.

I know that The Biggest Loser is a tv show and as such they like to portray certain things (like drama) to up their ratings. And I know that they pick and choose what we see so some of it may seem awful but we have to remember that there are parts that we don’t see.

BUT, I have to say that the things being said and done WERE said and done or they wouldn’t be on film to show us. As such I must say that from what I have seen of Conda and Kim that I don’t think they are anyone that I would want to be friends with. I have enough drama in my life just struggling to get through. I certainly don’t need anyone that likes the drama and conflict the way that those two seem to.

I may be wrong. If you personally know them and they aren’t like that then by all means PLEASE comment and let us know. But, I must say that I put out there that same request when we had to endure the whole Vickie season and No One Took Me Up On It. I know that she posted over and over about not being like that but yet again when Vickie was on the Biggest Loser it was the same deal- they can’t film it if you don’t say it or do it.

Of the 3 challenges and 4 weigh-ins the black and the red teams are pretty much running neck and neck.

Red team has won 2 challenges and 2 weigh-ins. So that puts them ahead in the challenges by 1 win and a tie on the weigh-ins.

I will say that even though I like Dolvett I love Bob and feel a certain loyalty to him. I also like the way that the black team has treated Daphne much better than how the red team has treated Adrian. It’s not all of the red team but a bad apple or two can certainly spoil the bushel.

So, for me I am rooting for the black team. BUT, there are certain red team members that I like and so I am conflicted.

I certainly like Buddy as he is from Michigan- Like us! J

Now Kim said about that she doesn’t know of Olympic athletes that work out 14 hours a day at the intensity that they do and only lose 34 pounds in a month.

One month is approximately 30 days (give or take). To lose 34 pounds is losing more than 1 pound a day. Now she is not taking into consideration the fact that Adrain and

Daphne never got onto the Biggest Loser Ranch. They have very little idea how the other contestants have been training. SURE, Bob and Dolvett each took a day to go work with them but that is 2 days out of 30 and how much of that actually soaked in when you think about how surprised they were and how excited. Looking back after the trainers had left how much of it did they remember?

I think that they did a really good job and would like to say that I am proud of them

Ok, I understand that Adrian is the new guy but his sister is the new girl on the black team and I don’t see the black team treating her the way that Adrian is being treated.

Maybe the red team doesn’t believe him when he said that he was working out 14 hours a day. Maybe he was just exaggerating, hoping that the team would see how much he wants to be there or maybe he is just trying too hard to fit in.

But to me there seem to be a couple people that are just trying to push him right out the door.

Who else can see how Conda and Kim are being? I feel that Conda is being the worst of the two. She certainly has some issues.

Think about how she was with calling Cassandra a cheater, rolling her eyes at Dolvett and how she has been treating Adrian.

I think that Nancy, Buddy and Mark had a pretty good attitude about the aqua team being back.

I understand that Chris is upset about Chism and Jeremy writing her name down to go home. BUT, she needs to realize that they felt that she wanted to go home.

I find it interesting that the women all voted for Gail and that the guys voted for Chris.

Maybe Chris was more open with the women and they know she REALLY wants to stay.

Maybe it all comes down to how men and women process things differently?

Hmmm…. Interesting. What do YOU think?

WOW! Chris did an awesome job on Fran with 4minutes and    seconds

Cassandra 7 minutes 46 seconds

Chism 7 minutes and 6 seconds

Emily 5 minutes and 29 seconds

Daphne 5 minutes and 14 seconds

You know, for all the doubting that the red team was doing about how well Adrian would do I think he did an amazing job on the monkey bars. He did better than most of the other red team members and he most certainly did better than I would JLOL

Buddy said that he was impressed with how well Adrian performed on the monkey bars but Conda, the drama and conflict queen, said that she is not impressed “This was one of the easier workouts that we’ve had”

I certainly feel for Adrian and his wife for losing their baby like they did. Losing a child is one of the hardest things a parent could ever go through.

I am also sure that watching this section of Biggest Loser was probably not easy for former contestant Denise Hill as she worries about her new baby grandson who was born January 17th at 1:36 (Exactly a half an hour before my Uncle died) he  weighed 1 lb 5oz. He was due May 11, he was 4 months early.

I would think that hearing about the loss that Adrian and his wife had would certainly bring up some worries as Denise and her family pray that their little one will be ok.

So far he has been doing really well and she says that he is a fighter. We are praying for him to do well, be healthy and to be able to go home soon. Please send prayers to her family at this time.

Josh was born 2 months premature and he did really well. I am sure that they have made great advances since then.

Now Conda is stirring the trouble pot again. She is saying how Adrian called her on being disrespectful and said that because he is a gentleman that he hasn’t called her on it yet.

How true! How true!

Adrian has caused tension between Conda and the rest of the team?

NO- CONDA is the one that has caused tension for everyone on the Biggest Loser this season

And Kim is calling Adrian an idiot? Is it any wonder that there is tension this week? And I am sure that all of that tension is going to show up on the scales come weigh-in time.

Now, how many of you think that Chris’s whole speech was trying to get the guys to not put her name down again?

I think that Chism had a good point about how ‘if she really wanted to get to know us she would have done it before she knew we wrote her name down on the paper’

Then again, you can see Chris’s point too. She had a weak moment and she sees now how it could come back and bite her in the butt if she doesn’t do some damage control.

Everything kind of came to a head at the dinner table. I am glad that Nancy and Mark spoke up about the petty crap going on. Although I am not sure how much was directed at Conda and Kim and how much at Adrain.

I also saw how everyone left Adrian alone at the table except for Buddy. Now I don’t know how much of that was support for Adrian and how much was because he may have not been done eating-or shock that everyone all of a sudden walked awayJ I am glad that someone stayed sitting there though so that Adrian wasn’t left all alone.

It would be so hard to go home thinking that these people were saddened to see them go home and looking forward to being part of the group and then have your dream come true to only have it turn into a nightmare.

Cudos to Adrian for getting Dolvett to realize that there was a problem without talking behind everyone’s back (unlike a couple other contestants I could mention)

Dolvett does have a point about Adrian not forcing himself to be part of the group that it will take time.

Now for the weigh-in results:

Black Team

Daphne 245-1-244

Megan 238-9=229

Chism  320-2=318

Emily 235-5=230

Chris 215-4=211

Cassandra 206-6=200

Jeremy 347-9=338

Total 27 pounds  1.72%

Red Team

Nancy 200-4=196

Adrian 336-2=334

Kim 220-5=215

Roy 272-4=268

Mark 255-4-251

Buddy 353-8=345

Conda 265-2=263

Red team lost the weigh-in

I am surprised that the red team sent Nancy home. I was really hoping that they would send Conda home. I can see why Adrian said that he was surprised that Nancy was being sent home. All he did was make a statement of fact and boy did the gruesome twosome jump on him.

It would seem to me that if you have someone that causes friction that she would be the one that you would send home when you got a chance. But then again when they had a chance to send so named by many Biggest Loser viewers ‘icky Vickie’ home they didn’t do it.

Is this because ‘they can’t see the forest for the trees’ like Josh says? Or is it that there are things going on that we don’t see that determine the contestants voting so differently than what we think that they should?

Well, time to stop for tonight. I have something else that I am hoping to post tonight if I have time and time is short as the library will be closing soon.

Hope you enjoyed my thoughts, and rants Jlol, on this weeks Biggest Loser

Take care. I’ll be back next week.

Biggest Loser Season 13 week 3

Friday, January 20th, 2012

Ok, so Joe wanted to go home. I understand that they miss their families. At least Jeremy has his head on straight and tried to talk him out of it

Did you know that there are 41,000 chinese restaraunts in the Us? That’s more than McDonald’s, Wendys and Burger King combined? WOW! I had no clue.

Ok, so here we go with a temptation.

Everything looked so good. I can’t imagine being in the room seeing and smelling that food.

Do you feel that an obese person is like an alcoholic? Do you think that they can never eat high calorie foods again or will fall right back into that whole way of eating? Do you think that they only need worry while losing the weight and then should be able to cheat on occasion without too much concern? Or do you think it was ok to eat to win the temptation?

I was surprised that no one on the red team seemed to be tempted

Good thinking on the black team’s part. A 30 calorie fortune cookie wouldn’t do a lot of damage and yet would have a chance of giving them control over the face-off and the 2 pound advantage

Cassandra seemed really happy about winning and she sure didn’t waste any time in picking out who would face off against whom.

Black (weight loss- %) lbs lost vs   Red =who won & their weight loss

Emily   (  14lbs-5.30 %)              and   Roy (19 lbs-6.21%)

Jeremy  (    lbs-5.14 %)               and   Lauren (    lbs-5.28 %)

Joe          (    lbs- 6.44 %)            and   Nancy (    lbs-4.61 %)= Nancy with just 2 lbs

Chism     (    lbs-5.54  %)            and  Kim ( 16   lbs-6.35 %)

Mark    ( 17 lbs-5.84 %)              and  Chris    (    lbs- 5.83 %)

Megan  (    lbs-4.25 %)                and  Buddy    ( 31 lbs-7.69 %)

Gayle    (    lbs-4.35 %)                and  Kimmy     (    lbs- 5.94 %)

Cassandra      (    lbs-    %)

What do you think of Joe leaving like that? He did leave his team in the lurch and make it that much harder for his team to win the weigh-in.

Yes, he misses his family but is his going home now going to cost them extra years that they might have had?

And when you think about how much the aqua team wants to be there and we have had 2 people leave voluntarily already in week 3?

That’s crazy!

How funny: Bob saying “I knew I’d get that old woman to cuss”

Well, that’s all I have time for today. I wasn’t sure that I would even post what with my Uncle dying but I decided to at least post some. I will try to finish it on Saturday so that we will be all caught up for next week’s Biggest Loser-K?

In the meantime here is something gross.

Take a look:

Click the pic for more info but basically this is processed chicken which is the entire chicken- including the eyeballs which is used in nuggets and processed chicken patties, etc. I am so sick to my stomach over this- EEEEWWWW! YUCK!

Now, from my research it DOES say that they have been doing this sinch the late 1960′s which means that we have probably all ate it and didn’t even know it.

It can be found in things like chicken nuggest, processed chicken patties, hot dogs, bologna, salami, etc.

I also know that we probably all know in that eating these things isn’t healthy anyway but when you are on a low income sometimes they are about the only meat you can afford to eat.

My son and I had just eaten hot dogs days before I read this article and saw this pic. Last night we had hot dogs again- because they are cheap. BUT, I couldn’t eat the same brand I ate the last time we had hot dogs- even though they were on sale for $1 for a package. We ended up getting some that were a manager’s discount for $2 because they were beef. Beef is not processed in this way in the US due to mad cow disease.

I do not know how each individual country processes their meat so if this interests you (or disgusts you) you may want to look into that. I know that we have visitors from all over the world (thank you so much for that :-) we REALLY appreciate it!) and I would LOVE to be able to tell you all how the meat is processed in YOUR country. BUT, with my Uncle dying and time constraints I just cannot do so at this time.

I AM however trying to find time (hopefully this week yet) to see about getting a petition going to change this process. I do not see why they cannot remove the heads and the internals before processing the meat this way so that we are not getting the disgusting parts in there that some of us (Me included) cannot stomach the idea of eating- even if we already HAVE and just didn’t know it.

I know it may sound silly to some of you that I cannot eat the exact same thing that I ate just a week or two ago but the idea that there are ground up eyeballs and guts (including the bowel) in that meat is just something I can’t stomach.

I am hoping that many of you would be willing to sign a petition to get this policy changed.

I think that having people to clean the chickens before processing would save not having to use unneccessary chemicals that could be causing health issues for many of us and must be costing them money. Use that money to pay people to clean the chickens= healthier meat and more jobs.

They can always use the parts removed for animal feed like they have done for years. The animals won’t know the difference and they eat these parts when they hunt anyway. Also, the price of cat and dog food has risen dramatically in recent years. I wonder how much of this is because of people insisting that the anials get ‘choice’ cuts of meat. My belief is that this has caused the price of not only dog and cat food to rise but our food as well. Only so many animals can be grown in a given year and yet it needs to feed us all. And why shoud WE as humans be forced to eat these parts, if we don’t want to, simply because we cannot afford anything better?

I know that some of you will disagree with me. That’s ok. You can still come here and enjoy My Biggest Loser Blog. As you can see from past posts I very rarely rant about anything other than the Biggest Loser on here. So if you don’t agree about my views on the meat processin you can skip over it and get to what you really want to read. I most likely will only post if and when I get the petition done and a possible update here and there.

As for Biggest Loser? I cannot wait for tonight’s show. It comes on in just over an hour so I am heading home so I will not miss even a teensy weensy second of it like we did a couple of weeks ago due to there being a bad storm. We missed 20 minutes of it-UGH!!! The HORROR!

I am finally recovering though due to the fact that I was finally able to see what we had missed -ahhhhh! The relief! :-) )

Enjoy Biggest Loser tonight and I will be talking with you soon.

Hug your loved ones as you never know just how much time you have left with them :-)

Biggest Loser Season 13 week 2

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

Right off the bat Alison asks for volunteers and then she pulls 2 volunteers from each team and takes them into another room. In this room are stacks of poker chips.

Well, it turns out that each team is to bet on how much weight that they believe that their team will lose this week.

Red team bets that their team will lose more than 94 pounds this week which is 3.8%

They lost 3% last week

OMG! Have these women even watched Biggest Loser before? Do they have any idea what week 2 is like?

The average loss for week 2 is only 2%

I cannot believe that red team’s went and bet for their team to lose 94 pounds in week 2 which is the toughest week in Biggest Loser history.

That is 10 ½ pounds per person in week 2. And nearly double the average loss for week 2.

Then during the flag challenge Gayle goes over to work on solving the puzzle and we are told that just before this she said that she is dyslexic and  bad at puzzles. Uh, if she knows this and told others that this is true about her then wouldn’t it have been better if someone else worked on solving it?

Dolvett was not happy when he found out how much weight their team needs to lose to win this week.

He spray painted 94 lbs on the wall to keep that goal in front of them. Uh, didn’t his momma teach him not to spray paint on the walls?

Bob seems very unhappy with Dolvett but how much of that is true and how much is for ratings? I gotta wonder?

BTW, I forgot to mention that Jillian is no longer on The Doctors. I am wondering if this might mean a return to The biggest Loser???

I would love to see this happen and yet I do like Dolvett. Yet, the team of Bob and Jillian is just pure magic. They are friends and yet they like to compete with each other. Nothing mean, just clean fun.

Ok, everyone seems to be working out except one.

What is up with Mike? It seems like all he’s been doing is taking breaks?

I believe that he was the one that was telling that he gained 50 pounds the summer he was 12. Which is when he met his half brother(?) for the first time? And what father lets their 12 year old gain 50 pounds over a summer and smoke like a smokestack?

Just when I was so glad to see Mike go home he finally admits that he has abandonment issues and seems to actually be a nice guy. So then I was see sawing about him going home. Course we hate to really see anyone have to go home ….well, for the most part. I mean there ARE some people that you can’t wait to see go home and when they do you do a HAPPY DANCE!!!!! WHOOHOO!

Ok, here are the weight loss amounts I have so far. I will need to watch what I taped and get the rest of the names and numbers and post them soon.

Black team:

Gayle -5 pounds

Megan – 4 pounds

Cassandra – 5 pounds

Emily- 4 pounds

Chris – 6 pounds

Joe- 8 pounds

Jeremy -7 pounds

Chism- 8 pounds

Red team:

Ok, so far there are quite a few Biggest Loser contestants that we like but the one that stands out the most to me right now (as I am running out of time to finish this. It has started to storm out and we need to get home) is Chism. I think that he seems like a really nice kid and he certainly needs to lose the weight.

WHOOOHOO! Chism sure pulled out the win for his team didn’t he? 8 pounds in week 2? WOW!

And, Josh had thought how ironic it would be if the 5 pound advantage was what put the black team ahead. Guess what? It was! The red team must REALLY be kicking themselves and I gotta wonder if the 2 women that bet the 94 pounds will be going home soon. I mean come on, the rest of the team was really unhappy with them. When push comes to shove I really think that this could come back to haunt them.

What do you think?

That’s it for now. Will try to post more soon.

See, I AM trying to do better about posting. It would be so much easier with home internet service but property taxes being paid are much more important.

Take care

~Michelle & Josh

Biggest Loser Spoiler March 2010

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

If you don’t want to know any spoilers then don’t read this.

Someone has discovered that if you are very careful in listening in the first hour of the show that you can find clues as to who will be going home that week. For the last 2 weeks they have found mentions in the first hour which later were revealed to be clues as to who actually went home that night.
You might want to try to see if this worksd again this week. I will be keeping my ears open for any such clues
Also, during the Biggest Loser tv show, airing in two weeks on March 30th, we will find that the Teams are DISOLVED and the Eliminated players will be returning to try to win a spot back on the Ranch. I don’t know about you but I think that this should be very interesting, indeed!

Biggest Loser- Sherry Goes Home

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

We find Daris realizing that his mom, Cheryl, was sent home. He seems upset but puts on a smile for everyone.

Josh brings up about how Daris is not letting his feelings out and talking about what is bothering him which is what helped to get him to the size he was when he came on The Biggest Loser ranch.

My feeling is that he had the chance to say goodbye, he KNEW that his mom going home was a possibility and yet he barely looked at her.

This is a far cry from how close they were when they came on the show.

Actually I am seeing changes in several of the blue team members that I don’t like. I do not understand why some people, when they start to lose a lot of weight, change.

Did they use to be like that before they gained the weight?

Or is it all about losing the weight and starting to look good and that it changes them?

You see, when Daris and Cheryl came on the show they were always talking to each other and hugging. I thought that it was great that they had such a good relationship.

Yet when Daris knew that his mom might be the one to go home he acted like he wasn’t even going to say anything to her, he didn’t go give her a hug goodbye and it seemed that when he did say anything he wouldn’t even look at her and he seemed a bit ‘cool’ towards her

I see the same kind of changes in Koli since the teams went to black and blue. He doesn’t seem to talk with Sam anymore despite the fact that he said that their being on different teams wouldn’t change anything that they would still be cousins.

Sam, on the other hand, is the bigger man as far as I am concerned. He praised up Koli’s weight loss when they had the weigh-in. And he said, in a great reminder to all of the contestants, that “THIS is what it’s all about not black or blue”

Anyway, so the contestants had to do a pop challenge and it was trivia about what they have learned since being on the Biggest Loser ranch.

For each correct answer they get a point and the first team to get three points wins.

The prize? A day (and night) at The Four Seasons.

The loser’s have to clean the kitchen and the gym

Now, we love the black team but we know that when teams get a prize like this and they get to do the whole spa thing that it usually shows up badly on the scale come the weigh-in.

So, even though we know that the black team would have loved to go have the day off and get massages (and that they deserved it) we were hoping that they wouldn’t win this challenge..

Cleaning the kitchen and the gym isn’t the most pleasant of tasks but it would give the black team extra workout time -after all cleaning IS exercise :0)

And the most important thing for us is for the black team to win the weigh-in

As much as I don’t like how Michael has been behaving I admire the fact that he left the ranch to be at her side when he found out her health was bad

We hope that she will be ok

The cooking challenge was interesting. To be able to create 3 courses using only 12 ingrediants?

The prize- a 5 POUND Advantage? OOOOHHHH!!!

We were hoping that the black team would win it. We have been hoping that the blue team would have to send someone home. The blue team has such an advantage already so a 5 pound advantage would help to even things up a bit.
I don’t remember the Biggest Loser ever having given a 5 pound advantage before.

If you haven’t already figured it out- we were happy to see the black team win the cooking challenge and get the 5 pound advantage. The weigh-in should be interesting this week

Josh and I realized that we really like when the blue team has to weigh-in first as it makes it so much easier to know how much weight loss to root for as each team member gets weighed. After all, you want them to lose enough to win but not enough to put them at a disadvantage next week

Well, when all was said and done the blue team won again. The black team had a weight loss of 2.5% while the blue team ended up with a 3.11% weight loss.

Even though the blue team has all those big guys that pull big numbers the black team still gave it a great try. They might not win the weigh-ins for losing weight but they sure do win for having heart and not giving up despite the odds.

So, the black team ended up having to send another team member home. It was sad to see Sherry go home but boy did she look great in the update-didn’t she?

I must say that I don’t like how the blue team has been behaving since they went black verses blue and I know that there are others that feel the same way. But, I guess we won’t be having to worry about that for much longer since the teams will be disolved soon.

Well, until next week.
Later :0)

Biggest Loser-Maria Goes Home

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Tonight on Biggest Loser I was surprised at how many people did not want to try to win the temptation. Since Michael and Sherry were tied I was a bit shocked that Michael came that close and then gave the game up. Since the candies were only 5 calories each and all he would have needed to eat was few more it was a bit surprising.

Okay, so pink team got the power to control the game. They got to choose who would be the teacher and who would be the student. It didn’t seem like they were real careful in their choosing as they seemed to stack the deck against themselves

The challenge was a bit weird but it was nice to see a challenge that wasn’t putting the thinner people in a position of power. It seems that so many of the challenges are physical to the point that those who are the most overweight are the ones that end up losing. Thus, those who need to be there the most often get the short end of the stick and then they usually end up going home soon because of it

I think that Michael had the right plan but boy did it backfire when it turned out that his mother would have to undo all of the ribbon that he had twisted and knotted up and had to do so blindfolded to boot.

It may have backfired against them but I was happy that it did put a wrench in the plans of the red team.

Melissa throwing the weigh in last week irked me but her comment tonight about Michael being 500 pounds was mean. After all, she is overweight too so who is she to be throwing stones?

Speaking of throwing stones? It seems that stones weren’t the only thing that Melissa was throwing. She threw the weigh in this week too. Then she gets mad at Bob and Jillian when they called her on it. Excuse me, does she think that we are all a bunch of IDIOTS here???

We all can see what she is up to and she gets mad because she got called on it?

She is so busy playing the game it makes me sick. There are so many people that want and need to be there to lose weight and here she gets this wonderful opportunity and she is wasting it because of game play?

It seems that her husband is doing what he needs to do to lose the weight but in my opinion, his wife is putting a target on their back by her game play.

Josh feels that way too. Josh and I are in total agreement about wishing that Melissa would go home

Does anyone else feel that way?

I know that Biggest Loser is a reality show, it is a game, BUT, when people are so focused on game play it seems that it is a slap in the face. They were chosen to go on Biggest Loser so that they could lose weight and get healthy but all they care about is the money and they are so obvious about but the think that they are fooling us?

That is the surest way to get me to dislike a player..

So the gray team got immunity and they got to choose a team to switch teacher/student status which then sent the opposite person, in this case Michael, onto the scale with HIS weight being the deciding factor. I understand that they feel that he isn’t working as hard as everyone else but , as someone that roots for the underdog, I would like to play devil’s advocate and remind people that when Bob put on the 330 pounds it was very difficult for him. Michael being the heaviest player, some contestants might not be aware of just how much weight he is carrying around and how hard it is. Remember Ron struggling because of his weight and his health? I am hoping that Michael getting some of this weight off will make it less of a struggle and then maybe he can do more. I would hate to think that someone who so obviously needs the help would waste it by not putting in the effort. I am glad that he is being given the opportunity to prove himself.

As hard as it is for Michael to have his mother go home I am wondering if it might be a blessing in disguise. Michael has been so concerned about his mother that maybe being at the ranch on his own he will be able to concentrate and do what he needs to do for him to lose the weight and get healthy.

Ok, so did you see the preview for next week?

OMG! I cannot wait to see it. Now I know that Biggest Loser likes to fool you by showing things in the preview that makes you think one thing when it might be another totally. So, in looking at the scale it looks like Melissa drops from 212 to 186 which would put her at losing 26 pounds. I find that hard to believe

What do you think?

Who are your favorite contestants? How do you feel about Melissa’s game play?

Right now my favorite teams are Black- they are from Michigan but I would like them even if they weren’t ;0)

I like the white team- Michael needs to lose so much weight or he will only have a few years left.

I like the orange team-Darris has endeared himself to us. He reminds me of Dan from the past 2 seasons and he is even in orange just like Dan :0)

I like most of the other contestants but those are my favorites for right now.

My least favorite contestant? Melissa.

Who would you send home if you had the power to?

I know who I would choose….

Btw, I would like to apologize for not posting like I should and how I want to. Our computer is old and it is EXTREMELY SLOW. It takes me hours to get done what I should be able to do in 30-60 minutes. I wanted to get a new tower- newer and more powerful- but our property taxes were more than I thought that they would be and we still need to come up with over $200 or our place will go up for foreclosure the 1st of March. It seems that life has been handing us a bunch of lemons but we are trying to make lemon-aid.
