Judys World Cat Rescue is being started in memory of our cousin, Judy Hile
Judy was a great cat lover. She had a big heart and was always taking in strays that needed a home.
In February 2009 Judy had an accident in the home that she grew up in. She fell down her basement stairs and hit her head on the cement floor. We found Judy in a pool of blood. To our horror, Judy died.
To keep on doing the work that Judy started we are trying to start a cat rescue. We have been finding homes for her beloved cats since she died. We have a few more that we need to find homes for. From there we plan to take in cats that need a home, care for them and ultimately find them loving homes.
We plan to be a no kill shelter like Judy would want and, as cat lover’s ourselves we would do anyway.
We have some cat pens and carriers already. We would like to put up a building for us to be able to shelter a larger amount of cats. We will also need donations for food, cat litter, medical care, toys, rugs, fencing, etc.
Judy was a great photographer and has thousands of pictures that she has taken of cats over the years as well as other wildlife, events, nature, etc.
Our plan for long term success is to publish photo books and use part of the profits for running Judy’s World Cat Rescue

There are some feral cats that will make good barn cats and some are tame, though a bit skittish around strangers. We can pet them and so we believe that with some loving care and patience they will let you pet them too.
There are 5 kittens that will be ready to adopt soon. We just found them but have pet them. We will be placing pictures of them here soon. Please contact us if you are interested in adopting one of them.
We would like to have a fundraiser to help us to be able to build a nice shelter for the cats that we will be rescuing.
