I’m a Celebrity- Get Me Out of Here! The first show…

Well, tonight is the first night for the new show- I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.
We have been looking forward to this new tv show as it looked like it would be good.

I must say, we missed the first 6 minutes but after seeing how Spencer and Heidi have been behaving I don’t think that we missed anything fantastic.

I cannot believe how childish and selfish this couple is behaving.

Right from the get go they are not only complaining but talking about leaving.

I could understand wanting to leave but as Lou Diamond Phillips and some of the others pointed out- They ARE there for charity. I would think that they could try to deal with a little discomfort in order to be able to help those less fortunate.

Sure, the other celebrities shouldn’t have started dividing up Spencer and Heidi’s stuff until they were sure that they had actually left. But, when you keep telling people that you are leaving why shouldn’t they believe you? Why shouldn’t they share what you left behind when they are only allowed so much to be able to get through.

I can understand being upset when they came back and discovered that the others had gone through their stuff and taken things BUT , as I said before, when you keep saying that you are leaving why wouldn’t they think that you had?

Spencer seems to think that he is so much better than everyone else and that he and Heidi are more famous than anyone else.

Maybe for some people, they might be but I cannot stand how childish they have been behaving.

Ok, now they just finished eating at Jungle Joe’s.

OMG! I would NOT want to eat any of what they ate. Personally, I would have rather just ate the rice and beans and just skip the whole disgusting menu that I’m a Celebrity had for these people.

The good thing about them eating these disgusting tidbits does seem that it has brought everyone together. I’m glad about that as I could not stand all of the hollaring that Spencer was doing and if it hadn’t of been for wanting to

see Lou Diamond Phillips, Steven Baldwin and some of the others I think that I would have turned the channel.

They just had the challenge to see who would be the leader

I wonder if Janice had realized the benefits of being the leader if she would have tried to stick it out instead of letting Lou be the leader.

They are getting ready to go in the ‘trauma tank’ now. I don’t think that I would want to do this either. I guess it’s a good thing that I am not a celebrity but I am sure that even if I were a celebrity I would not want to be a part of this show.

I am enjoying watching it but I sure wouldn’t want to be there.

Living in the country myself I am sure that I could handle the whole camping part of this show. I just do not think I would want to deal with strangers that don’t want to deal with a little hardship and the whole eating disgusting things and getting dunked in something called a ‘trauma tank’ just doesn’t seem like it would be anything that I would want to deal with.

This show is basically a Celebrity Survivor/ Fear Factor combined

Why is it that Spencer and Heidi seem to be sitting everything out?

They may be famous but then again everyone else there is too and you see everyone else doing their part. Is this how they are going to be for the whole show?

At least at this point they seem nicer than the first opinion I got of them. Then again, Spencer said it was a game and that he still hates them all so how much of the being ‘nice’ is for show? I also got to wonder about someone saying how ‘Christian’ they are and yet he then talks about hating people?

Well, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here is going to be on again tomorrow night. I will be blogging about the show then.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here-Week 2 Day 2

Ok, so sorry that I didn’t blog about Monday’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here. I have had sunpoisoning and have felt like crap.
So, a quick update and then talk about tonight’s show.
I was surprised at how well Heidi and Spencer seemed to be doing on Monday. They were better than they had been before.
Too bad Heidi got sick and they had to leave but I am glad that Heidi is ok and that it was nothing serious.
I think that Janice really freaked out during the challenge but then again I will be honest and say that I sure wouldn’t have wanted to be in there with all of those alligators and such.
Now tonight, I do think that Janice is milking her bronchitis a bit because itdoes seem like when it is something that she wants to do she is ok but when it comes time to do chores or a challenge that she doesn’t want to do and then she is too sick.
Sounds like the others are getting a bit tired of it all & I wouldn’t be surprised if Janice Dickerson is the next one to go home.
We will see.
I cannnot believe that she actually spits on the plates like they showed in the previews. Although I did say during the show Monday night I told Josh that since Janice didn’t want to have to wash the plates that she would probably spit on them but I didn’t seriously believe that she would do it.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here-Week 2 Day 2-part 4

Gawd, I KNOW that they were punished for sharing the food but considering that the men shared their food with the women all that time I would have thought that the women should have at least offered to share and I think it was just really bad manners for Janice to keep rubbing the men’s noses in the fact that they got the good food and the men didn’t.

I think as far as Patty that this is a good experience for her. She is finding a strength in herself that she didn’t know that she has. She is finding some support from her new friends and she is getting her side of the story out there for everyone to hear.

I am so sorry that this is taking so long. My computer us going extremely slow tonightI may just wait and post at the end of the showfor the rest of what is one tonight

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here-Week 2 Day 2-part 5

Things got pretty emotional in camp. It was a nice opportunity to see a whole another side of the celebrities.

Urinating in camp? That really is disgusting. I missed a couple of minutes of it but I think that it was Janice that did it- wasn’t it?

Josh kept saying that he wondered if it was going to be her. I did too but I figured since it is so much easier for a man to go outside that it would probably be that one of the men just turned their back and went.

I guess not.

Oh boy, it looks like it is going to be good when they come back from commercial.

I wonder what Lou has to talk to Janice about and she sure gets upset with him about touching her. I think that he is just doing that as a way of comforting her so that she won‘t feel like everyone is against her. But she REALLY doesn‘t like to be touched,

If it is really hot there it could be why emotions are running kind of high tonight.

Yes, the Baldwin brothers are kind of picking on her but it does seem like she brought a lot of this on herself.

Everyone is getting tired of the way that she is being.

Receptive? I don’t think he’s ever going to find a really good time for this :0)

Ok, I think that Lou handled really well and I think it was something that needed to be said. I don’t think that Janice handled it very well at all.

I understand that when you don’t feel well you might be a little touchy but I think that this is something that has been building for a while and that Lou had to talk with her to try to diffuse the situation.

Hopefully Janice will calm down and realize that Lou was just being a good leader and that she needs to try to get along with everyone better.

Hopefully too Daniel will listen to Lou about not making snide comments and making the situation worse.

I can’t wait until America’s Got Talent comes back on. I will be blogging about it too.

I think that Torrie and Patty are doing really well for having never sawed anything before.

Who do you think will win this challenge?

I think that after all the times that the women have lost that it would really be something if the women won 2 times in a row.

You would think that since the men are stronger that they wouldn’t have any trouble doing this challenge but it seems like the men are struggling a lot more with this challenge than what we would have expected.

Josh wonders, like Torrie said, about the height difference and if that is part of the reason why the men are having such a hard time with this.

I wonder what the prize is gong to be?

I wasn’t really surprised that the women won again. They seemed to work well together.

Now looking at all of the trouble that John and Steven had and how John was saying that he was supposed to be the captain I have to wonder if they struggled so much because they both wanted to be in control.

It may have been more of a control issue than anything.

And yet, John plays on a team so you would think that he would be a ‘team player’.

It does seem like the men are having a hard time dealing with the women winning 2 times in a row. Yet, the men won how many times in a row?

Oh great- now the whole Janice thing is coming up again.

I don’t that Janice eating first was the problem. I think it was the fact that she was eating the loser’s food when she should have been eating out of the winner’s food. I think that the fact that she went back for 2nd and 3rds when others hadn’t had much to eat is more the problem

I think that Daniel was just asking to see how she is feeling but it seems that Janice didn’t take it that way.

Did anyone else think that she was joking?

OMG! We saw Janice eat the granola bar and now she is lying and saying that she didn’t take it. Then acting the victim about that they just don’t like her when she was the one to take it is just amazing!

Someone else had to have gone without a granola bar because someone handed Janice a granola bar. So she had 2 and someone else didn’t get any? She wasn’t even in the challenge and yet most likely one of the women that was actually IN the challenge probably went without.

Doesn’t seem fair at all does it?

I think that Lou chose pretty well.. When he chose Daniel because his wife is 8 months pregnant I said that he should choose Patty because she has kids at home.

It is nice that they will be talking to their families. Maybe this will help to diffuse the situation there and get rid of some of the edginess.

Well, I plan on blogging on Friday when I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here will be on again.

BUT, they are switching to digital and we are having trouble getting our tv to work with the digital converter. We think that it might be the antennae isn’t right so may have to buy a new one. Right now it is the old type that is up on a pole and we have a lot of trees around.

So, if I don’t blog on Friday then check back on Monday because we will be trying to get this working asap. Yes, we should have done so already but it has been so busy here and time just kind of got away from us.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Final hour of the show (2)

I just loved everything that they each said about the other. What wonderful and nice things to say. That they can compete against each other without tearing each other down is awe inspiring. They are great examples for America and the world to look up to and emulate

The men won 10 trials to 3 against the women

Well, from winning the food trial the celebrities got to eat the meal that they were craving

Torrie had a vegetarian pizza- large

Lou had fried chicken

and John Salley had a tofu burger and fries

The next person to leave the jungle was John Salley

So who will win?

I have to be honest. I couldn’t make up my mind when I went over to vote last night so I split my votes between Lou Diamond Phillips and Torrie Wilson. I love both of them and think that they both are great role models for the world. So, whichever one wins I will be happy for them.

They both have great charities too so it will be a win/win situation no matter who wins I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

I must say that I have loved this show and I will miss it a lot. I hope that they will have it on again and soon.

I think that this has been very empowering for them both, actually for all of them but most especially

Lou Diamond Phillips and Torrie Wison.

Well Lou WON!!! I am so happy for him. He did a fabulous job all through the season and he deserves to win.

Congratulations Lou!!!

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Final hour of the show (1)

The Fab Five is down to the final three
Everyone was shocked that Sanjaya was sent home last night. It seems that they all thought that Sanjaya would be one of the final 3.

Patti Blagovich was sent home last night and the other celebrities miss her but none more than John Salley, I think.

I can’t wait to see who America has chosen. Did you vote? I did.

Who do you think will win?

Will the only woman left in the jungle beat out the 2 guys? Torrie Wilson is strong and she has proven that she has what it takes to be the winner of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

But will she?

Or, will it be one of the 2 remaining guys?

Both have been strong and amazing throughout the series

Torrie did well and got both of her stars in the allotted time

That was funny. John asking if this was legal in America and then being told that that is why they are in Costa Rica because they are breaking rules

John found both his stars in the cheese fruit with his mouth

Lou found both his stars by reaching through frogs or toads and then through bugs to get his 2 stars

Now Torrie is next.

When we are done here we will be blogging about America’s Got Talent so check it out too :0)

Torrie is the GIRL!

She stepped right in the water with those crocs and she just says “Excuse me guys” and dunks her head in and grabs the 2 stars

John gets inside an enclosure that has a wire puzzle that he needs to move the 2 stars to the correct area. The catch? There are snakes all around him and on the wires.

As bad as some of these trials were I think that Lou Diamond Phillips got the worst one out of them

OOHHHHHH! That was totally GROSS! Poor Lou got sprayed with slime and then had mealworms dumped all over him

But, he got his 2 stars

Now Lou is all cleaned up and every one of them got all of their stars so all 3 get to eat

I like what John Salley said about “I got more out of this jungle than the jungle got out of me”

Patti Blagovich is going home but I think that her time on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out f Here! was actually a blessing. I think that the time away from her families situation was a good thing for her and it was a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know her.

I hope that the truth comes out and that her and her family will be ij no matter what happens.

Being on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! helped her to see that she is stronger than she might have realized

Now it is time for America’s Got Talent. I will be blogging about it through the season

WOW! Out of 12 trials Sanjaya won 9 of them. That is wonderful!

I think that of all the sentiments expressed by the celebrities were heartfelt and absolutely wonderful

It says so much about Sanjaya that everyone there had such great things to sat about him. He has such a joy de vive (I hope that I spelled that right?_I think that we will be seeing much more of Sanjaya M. He not only has his whole life ahead of him but I think he has a wonderful career ahead of him too

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!-week 4 day 2 (1)

It was nice hearing each of the celebrities talk about their hapiest moments in the jungle

The toothbrushes were nice but we are big on recycling, composting and not fiot filling up our landfills. I am concerned about the amount of garbage that this product will be putting into our landfills and all of the toxins.

I have a great idea if the company wants to contact me(?)

Now, for the challenge? I think it was nice of John Salley to help Torrie by giving her a pep talk like that

Ok so John won and then Sanjaya

Will Patti get through it?

Yes but Sanhaya was the fastest and John was the second fastest.

Even if Patti had not dropped those 2 flags she still would not have been one of the 2 that won

Sanjaya was quite a bit faster than everyone else.

I think that the whole height thing really hurt some of the celebrities that seem to have a fear of heights. John Salley did give Torrie Wilson some good advice about just concentrating on the flags and not to look down.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!-Week 4, day 1 (4)

Everyone is pretty disappointed in Stephen Baldwin. both the celebrities and I am sure America too. After all, so many people voted to save hhim and then he just quits.

WOW! Ok, who are the celebrities going to chose to bring back to take Stephen Balswin’s place?

I think that Janice Dickenson gave a pretty good plea. But,, I know that everyone was happy to see her go.

Yet, Holly was loved and missed but it IS a game and I can see that the celebrities are concerned that Holly could win if she stays.

 

Sounds like Torrie Wilson and Patti B are leaning towards choosing Janice when they are talking about it is a game and that they want to win.

WOW! Was anyone else surprised at the vote? I know that they like Holly more but I really thought that they would bring Janice back as they talked like they thought that she would be easier to beat

It looks like Sanjaya is extremely happy that Holly Montag is back.

Ok, Now for the challenge.

I cnnot believe that Patti gave it up without even trying after all her talk about how Stephen Baldwin quit

Holly Montag did a good job. It didn’t seem like it took he rthat long and I didn’t really notice anything crawling on her.

I really figured that the way that John Salley was talking that he wasn’t going to do the challenge. But, he actually did. Sanjaya was so fast getting his stars through the openings.

Lou Diamond Phillips was really fast too.

Ok, now the finales. Who do you think will win it? Lou Diamond Phillips? Sanjaya? Or Holly Montag?

John Salley has some great pictures of everyone since they have been there in Costa Rica. That was a great idea for him to bring a camera and get all of thosewonderful pictures that he will now have not only as mementos but also for his friends and family to enjoy too.

That was sweet that Lou gave Holly the hug that he would have given his daughters.

Now it’s a hugfest :0)lol

It is nice that Lou and John get to talk to and see their kids but I think that it would have been nice if the others could have talked to their Dad’s too. Sanjaya seemed especially disappointed

Wellm it seems that pretty much everyone is glad to see Janice Dickerson go. John Salley is probably the happiest of all of the celebrities.

I was a bit surprised to hear Stephen Baldwin saying ? Come on, she wasn’t that bad”

Did he really mean it or just say it because as a Christian he thought that someone should stick up for her at least a little bit?

 I feel bad for Sanjaya as he lost 2 people that he was close to on the show. He looks pretty sad. Course, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! is only on for 2 more days so I think that he can handle it.

WOW! Another celebrity will be leaving tonight when we just sent 2 home?

Stephen Bladwin really wants to go home. Since there is only 2 more days to go I am a bit surprised that he is so determined to leave. To come so close and then to just quit just doesn’t seem right to me.

Ok, I guess at that point it was 5 days but like everyone is saying, How can he leave with only 5 days left he will be letting everyone down and letting down the charity that he was there to help.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Week 3, day 4 (2)

Oh boy, here we go! :0)lol

As much as Patti and John seem to be friends I was a bit surprised at her saying about him being selfish. Though she, like many of us, probably figured that John would be saying her name for immunity.

John Salley is right that them being told Janice is not in the top 2 and Patti is not in the bottom 2 doesn’t really say much. We still have no idea who is safe and who will go home.

Will John and Patti still be as good of friends as they were?

WOW! It’s now singles so everyone is on their own and no one has anyone else to blame but their self whether they win our lose.

I wonder who is handling it better than others?

Sounds like Janice is not taking it too well. Holly said that Janice was being a bit crabby.

Cranky Aunt type way? She is still mad about the crazy Aunt comment isn’t she?

I can’t believe how nice she was to Holly’s face and then the things that she was saying behind her back.

Holly thinks that they are friends but there is no way that Janice is Holly’s friend for real

Stephen Baldwin is a real character isn’t he?

So what in the heck are the capes for?

The challenge sounded easy enough- just find three stars and you get to eat pizza?

But, we should have known that it was too easy. Jungle company? Crocs?

Hmmm…. they only have a week or so left there don’t they? I think that I might be able to wait a week to get me some croc free pizza ;0)

Pizza…Pizza…Pizza- man that sounds good :0) Maybe I couldn’t wait a whole week or more

Boy Janice and John just really rub each other the wrong way- don’t they?

After the way that Janice lied about the granola bars when she ate the one and then swore that she didn’t when we saw her eat it

I find it hard to believe her when she has been caught in a lie like that.

You know, Janice Dickerson butts heads with John Salley and everyone else and it doesn’t seem like it bothers her to do so. Yet, all of a sudden she says that John Salley scares her.

I was in a domestic violence marriage and believe me, if you are REALLY afraid of someone and their temper you usually don’t provoke them like she does.

So, who is the other celebrity to go home?

Well, now she can go home, eat her greens and get her bowels straightened around :0)

I love the fact that we get to hear the letters from home that the celebrities received

Sanjaya really got my vote when he wasn’t afraid to admit that he is a Momma’s boy. It takes someone really strong and confident in who they are to go against the norm and admit something like that.

It sounds like his Mom has been there for him through a lot and that he realizes and appreciates that.

Go Sanjaya! :0)

I know that all of the celebrities are there for very good charitable causes. But, I think that some of the causes speak to my heart a bit stronger than others. They are all good but Stephen really got to me when he said how his charity helps to get girls out of situations where they are treated awful.

I forget exactly how he said it but that was what it boiled down to.

As someone who was molested by my grandfather as a little girl I can truly appreciate what some of these girls go through.

Holly and Janice think that Sanjaya or Stephen Baldwin will win

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Week 3, day 4 (1)

Oh boy, here we go! :0)lol

As much as Patti and John seem to be friends I was a bit surprised at her saying about him being selfish. Though she, like many of us, probably figured that John would be saying her name for immunity.

John Salley is right that them being told Janice is not in the top 2 and Patti is not in the bottom 2 doesn’t really say much. We still have no idea who is safe and who will go home.

Will John and Patti still be as good of friends as they were?

WOW! It’s now singles so everyone is on their own and no one has anyone else to blame but their self whether they win our lose.

I wonder who is handling it better than others?

Sounds like Janice is not taking it too well. Holly said that Janice was being a bit crabby.

Cranky Aunt type way? She is still mad about the crazy Aunt comment isn’t she?

I can’t believe how nice she was to Holly’s face and then the things that she was saying behind her back.

Holly thinks that they are friends but there is no way that Janice is Holly’s friend for real

Stephen Baldwin is a real character isn’t he?

So what in the heck are the capes for?

The challenge sounded easy enough- just find three stars and you get to eat pizza?

But, we should have known that it was too easy. Jungle company? Crocs?

Hmmm…. they only have a week or so left there don’t they? I think that I might be able to wait a week to get me some croc free pizza ;0)

Pizza…Pizza…Pizza- man that sounds good :0) Maybe I couldn’t wait a whole week or more

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!- week 3, day 3

What a dream Janice had. Do you think that it was as deep as Stephen was saying or was it just a dream?

Do you think that dreams tell us things if we just pay attention or are they just a way for our brain to blow off steam, so to speak?

I don’t think that Janice liked being called ‘Grandma’ or ‘the crazy old Aunt’

I liked some of the drawings that the celebrities made. SOme of them are pretty talented, which is something that most of us probably didn’t know

Well, now we’re on to the challenge. Janice sure insisted on being in it- didn’t she? Will she do well?

Oh GAWD- here we go with her bowels again! :0)lol

The women really moved along didn’t they?

Well, the guys are doing well too. Were they faster?

No one dropped any flags.

WOW! The guys zipped through the challenge in about half the time.

I was typing so I missed Janice not shaking John’s hand

Huess the guys were  a bit upset and thought that Janice had no class.

Well, it seems that they guys are showing that they were bit by the ‘no class’ bug. Rubbing the women’s face in the fact that they are getting the Chinese food and the women won’t and Stephen Baldwin sticking his tongue out at Torrie after throwing it in her face that she won’t be having Chinese food is a but childish

Then again, Stephen is a bit of a prankster, as we saw when his brother Daniel was on I’m a Celebrity. So, maybe this is something that he does with his siblings.

I can see why everyone is a bitupset with Janice as she INSISTED on doing the challenge and yet when they lost she starts making excuses about how she’s been sick.

Since she has been so sick I figured that she should wait a bit before doing a challenge like that. But she insisted.

Man, everyone sure has an opinion about John and Patti.

John sure is possesive about ‘his’ kitchen isn’t he?

Since the men got to eat Chinese food I thought that it was nice of Sanjaya to offer to cook for the girls. I couldn’t believe how John was being about the whole thing.

I can see being a bit possesive about your kitchen at home but this is a campand they all should be equal. John doesn’t own the ‘kitchen’ aster all
