Michael Jackson Suicide?

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Someone asled me if I thought that Michael Jackson had commited suicide.

My initial reaction was “No!”

But then, in order to be honest and thorough, I decided to really think it through before giving my opinion on whether or not Michael Jackson had indeed committed suicide.

I have watched Michael Jackson for years. I have enjoyed his music tremendously.

And like most of his fans, I was horrified by the whole child molester accusation.

If you search the world over you will find people that actively feel that he WAS a child molester, you will find people that will vehemently deny that Michael could do such a thing and then you find people that are on the fence because they are not really sure one way or the other.

Personally, as a victim of child molestation, I hate to be too quick to form an opinion one way or the other.

The person that admired Michael the musician wants to deny that Michael could ever do such a thing.

The child in me that was molested wants all child molesters to be caught and dealt with harshly.

But, in the middle is the grown up me that tries to see things realistically.

When I was a child I really admired OJ Simpson. What does OJ Simpson have to do with Michael Jackson you might be wondering?

You see, I thought OJ was wonderful. I looked up to him.

When Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered I had to take a good long look at the person that I had admired and I have to admit that I didn’t like what I saw.

I know that some people think that he is innocent but most people that I talk to feel that he is guilty and from the very first I have believed that OJ Simpson killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

I could be wrong but that is how I feel. But I don’t think so.

So, realizing that I was so wrong in looking up to OJ all of those years, when the whole Michael Jackson child molestation case came along I wanted to really look at the whole situation honestly.

Did Michael Jackson molest that child? Any child?

I really can’t say one way or the other but my gut feeling is that he didn’t.

Yes, Michael hung around with children and ‘as a grown man he shouldn’t have spent so much time with children’ is how many feel.

I think that having fame thrust upon him at such a young age kept Michael from enjoying his childhood. He never really got to fully experience just being a child. There were always rehearsals, concerts and tv appearances.

The lack of a childhood may have been a big part of why Michael could seem so childlike at times and why he spent so much time with children.

Like Peter Pan he never really grew up.

Then too Michael loved children and was always helping them through charities.

But, when all is said and done, Michael loved all people and the environment. You can see that love in many of his songs and all the charitable donations that he contributed.

Do I think that Michael molested those children?

No.

If he did then he is answering for his deeds and it is up to God to punish him.

But, I really don’t believe that he did what he was accused of.

Why?

First of all my gut feeling tells me that he didn’t.

On top of that is the fact that the parents accepted $20 million.

I tell you right now that as a parent, if anyone harmed my child that there is no amount of money on God’s green Earth and all of the planets combined that would get me to shut up and let it go.

Some of you may say, “Well, that’s a lot of money.”

Sure it is and as a single mom on low income I would LOVE to have a lot of money and not have to worry about bills anymore.

BUT, my son is more important than any amount of money. I have had to make hard choices in my life. I have done the right thing at times when it would have been much easier not to. But, it was the right thing and doing the right thing is important to me.

Especially, as a parent, I believe that it is vital that we set good examples.

What kind of a parent would I be if I told my child to do the right thing and be honest but then turn around and do wrong things and lie?

So, when I hear that these parents accepted the money I feel that Michael Jackson was innocent and that this was all about the money.

You don’t think so?

Then tell me, if they truly believed that Michael Jackson had molested their child how much do they really love him if money is more important?

Then too, from my understanding, the second child that accused Michael sounded coached.

Hmmmm, if you see that someone else got $20 million (I know that the amount wasn’t disclosed at the time but anyone with half a brain would have to realize that the amount would be HUGE!) how hard would it be to think about that if you just get your child to say “Michael touched me” that maybe you too could hit the Michael Jackson lottery.

Michael being the person that he was I think that these accusations hurt him beyond measure and that he just wanted it to go away. He wanted for people to quit telling lies about him. He wanted for people to just love him again.

So, after all of this I finally get to the question that I started this post with.

Do I think that Michael Jackson committed suicide?

NO!

If this had all happened back when Michael was being accused of being a child molester then I might have believed that he had killed himself.

But, Michael had too much to live for.

He loved his children and was a great Dad.

Even knowing that they would be taken care of I cannot see Michael killing himself and leaving them.

His concert tour.

Michael Jackson was on the brink of a comeback. He was about to start a concert tour and by all accounts it was sold out.

If he had gotten everything ready for his comeback tour and then not sold many tickets I might have questioned whether or not this was suicide.

But his concerts were sold out.

Then too you watch the video of when Michael Jackson was rehearsing to prepare for his tour.

He looked happy and totally in his element.

Michael Jackson was back and better than ever!

He had everything to live for.

The only thing that could stop him, and DID, is an addiction to medications.

Well, that and doctors that seem to care more about money than they do their patients lives.

But then, you see that all over anymore.

Sure it happened to Elvis Presley and now Michael Jackson but it happens to rich and poor alike every day.

My Mom was a victim of it 11 years ago as was my friend’s mother who just died a few months ago.

Sad to say but to too many people we are all just a way to make money.

I don’t know, maybe I have a bit of Michael’s childlike innocence still in me but I believe that God wants us to love each other and help each other.

That is what I have taught my son and what I have always done. Yet, you wouldn’t believe that sometimes it’s the people closest to you that will take advantage and screw you over.

Even so, I still try to do what God would want but I am much more wary. I do not trust like I used to.

But even with my rose colored glasses ripped off my face I still believe that Michael Jackson did not kill himself.

What do YOU think?

Michael Jackson Memorial

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

As most of you probably already know,Michael Jackson’s memorial was today.

People all over  the world united in their grief to say goodby to Michael Jackson.

I must say that I missed the first part of the Michael Jackson memorial but what I did see was an emotional. beautiful tribute to the King of Pop.

All over the internet the buzz was about Michael. There were news reports, twitter updates and even a live video broadcast of the memorial for Michael.

Sadly, I  missed Brooke Shield’s speech. From what I heard it was a heart flet speech which caused the tears to flow- even Brooke’s.

I wonder if the video from her speech will be on youtube for those of us that missed it?

Personally I cried when Michael’s brother Marlon came up to the mike. His voice broke as he aqueaked out “I hurt” I know the feeling of that pain, a loss so deep so soul ahattering that you don’t know how you can live through it

I laughed when Marlon told about seeing the old man at the music store. When he asked the old man “What are you doing here Michael?” and Michael wondered how he had recognized him I could picture the whole scene in my mind.

The story was funny and yet sad too as it depicted how with the famethat Michael had he was no longer able to enjoy a normal life. Simply going out to a music store to buy some cd’s was an ordeal of putting on a disguiseand hoping not to be discovered.

The simple mundane things that we do every day without giving them a second thought were not available to huge stars like Michael Jackson and Elvis presley.

I am sure that Michael is now in Heaven looking down and he is happy to see how he affected the world. Songs that he recorded years ago are still being enjoyed by young and old, male, female, black, white and every other color in God’s rainbow of human beings here on Earth.

I have been trying to leave a message on Michael’s facebook page but I don’t know if it is because of how busy it is or if it is my computer. I havem’been able to leave it there so I will leave it here:

Michael sang songs that made us think and made us feel. The world seems a dimmer place without his shining star to brighten it. We will miss you Michael

Michael Jackson Raised from the Dead?

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

I was just reading about how the hospital that Michael Jackson was taken to has been known from raising people from the dead. They have actually had people be dead for an hour and a half- even as much as 2 and a half hours- and the have been able to bring them back to life with a new technique.

Out of 32 people that they used this new technique on only 7 actually died and could not be brought back.

It leads you to wonder why, if this technique is so successful, they can use it to bring so many people back from the dead and yet not be able to resuscitate Michael Jackson.

Speculation runs rampant that Michael Jackson has been addicted to prescription drugs. One article says that Michael Jackson has been suffering from insomnia and had wanted a drug to help him to sleep. The person told him that they would not give him the drug due to the danger of using it. It is speculated that Michael might have gotten a hold of it anyway.

Now, I am wondering if Michael did use the drug to be able to sleep if maybe that would be why the new technique did not work to resuscitate him.

We may never really know why a technique that has been used to bring back so many people from the dead did not work on the King of Pop. All we can do at this point is to remember the good things about him, enjoy the wonderful music and video’s that he has given us over the years and to know that he really is in a better place.

We will miss him but for someone who has gone through so much in recent years and who had virtually become a recluse he now is free and is no longer suffering. Michael Jackson was a kind person. He liked to help people and for him to be persecuted as he was I am sure that he suffered terribly. Now he suffers no more

Michael Jackson loved his kids and seemed to be a really good Dad. With the submission of his will he has made sure that his Mother will take care of his children and that they will be provided for.

I have hear that Michael actually left recordings of new songs for his children. With the release of these new songs his children’s future should be secure.

I am not sure at this time when his funeral will be. It has been speculated that Michael Jackson will be buried on the Never Land Ranch. But California law says that in order to bury human remains on private property that they body must be cremated. We will have to wait and see what happens with this.

2 autopsy’s were performed and I have yet to hear any actual evidence of what the results were. I understand that some of the results could be weeks to be known
