America’s Got Talent July 15th

Keg The Lone Ranger of Rock? I think that he spent too much time practicing his kicks and not enough practicing the guitar and singing.

Is it just me or does it seem like this year there are more people that think if they just wear something skimpy or take off clothes on stage that this is considered talent?

I say, if you want to take your clothes off for a living then go work at a strip club and don’t be coming on America’s Got Talent and think that this is going to get you your ‘big break’

Carly? When she started telling her story about how she auditioned for a cruise ship and the guy could barely look at her and then told her that she wasn’t what they were looking for even before she opened her mouth to sing? I was praying that she would be really good because I hated the idea that she would be bad and everyone would be booing her. It sounds like she has gone through enough in her life.

Imagine my astonishment when she opened her mouth and belted out a song with so much emotion? Way to go Carly!!! Don’t let ANYONE keep you from realizing your dream! If they have trouble looking at you then THEY are the one with the problem. Do not let them get you down.

The Pixies are great. They sure could move couldn’t they? And their costumes were colorful- especially while they were running and flipping about. They did a really good job

Reality? Well, I think that they had the voice they just made a bad choice. They should have picked a song that was more modern more upbeat

Destined to Be was really good. I am so glad that they didn’t let the voices of a few silence their dream. They stuck with it and now are on they are way to realizing their dream

Rashida? I cannot think of her name right now but I must say that I was so impressed with not only her harp playing but her singing too. She did a wonderful job and it was something that was unique. Usually when someone says that their act is unique it turns out it isn’t good but in her case it was GREAT! :0)

Matt & Tony? The 2 with no name did a fantastic job. I think that the one on the guitar needs to sing a little louder as there were parts that I could hear the guitar but had a little trouble making out what he was singing. His voice is good but I think that he is a little shy and he just needs to gain some confidence and start projecting his voice so that we can hear him better. Great job on both their parts though. Very unique and entertaining

The father and son team did great with their acrobats. I enjoyed watching them.

The couple with the whip? OMG! That lady must really trust him because there is no way I would stand still and let someone do that-UGH! It was entertaining but I just would much rather watch than to be in the act itself :0)lol

Ok, do you remember the one that was on last that was on America’s Got Talent last year? She looked familiar. Josh was wondering if she was the one that kept going on about her father even though he wasn’t there for her and her mother was. Is that the one? Does anyone remember?

Anyway, who ever she was last year she was really great this year time. Her personality, her voice and her playing were all fantastic.

America’s Got Talent is getting some great acts. Tuesday is MySpace auditions and it won’t be long and we will be seeing the acts again and start the elimination process to find out who will be the winner of America’s Got Talent 2009

Well, that’s it for the show tonight. We will see you again oon TTuesday

America’s Got Talent July 14th (2nd hour)

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Tallen Noble Latz? At 9 years old he makes that guitar SING!

He has an amazing career ahead of him.

I loved Piers story about his 9 year old son can just about play 3 Blind Mice and here Tallen comes out on stage and just blows everyone away

73 year old Tony came out and danced for us. I think that he did a good job exceot for when he went down on the floor and tried to do moves done by much younger people

Piers really did not want Tony to go through to the next lewvel

The dancer and the magician were great

Kelly Glover? I cannot imagine why she lost American Idol. She has the voice of an Angel. She put her heart and soul into her singing and she made you FEEK . Like Sharon said “I got goosebumps”

Enough said

The “Bad Girls”? Were very bad and they have no idea. They just don’t get it.

To say that Sharon and David know nothing about singing?

David Hasselhoff is a recording artist and Sharon is married to Ozzy Osborne.

How could these young girls say that these 2 know nothing about singing?

They need to lose the attitude and listen to what they are being told by people that KNOW music.

The Platt Brothes? They were so funny and entertaining

The Spiritusl Harmonizers were awesome!

Wow! That hour went so fast but it ended on a high note

America’s Got Talent July 14th (1st hour)

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

The Texas Tennors did a great job. I hate to admit that I agree with Piers about anything :0)lol but I too felt my stomach drop when I heard the Tecas Tennors say that they had only formed their group 3 months ago.

Watching America’s Got Talent we have seen good acts, Great acts and some bad acts. It seems like so many times we see acts where the people praise up their talent so much and then they start and you are like OMG! And NOT in a good way.

Ok the hand noises bombed big time.

The guy getting money stapled to his face and hanging things from his nipples? All I can say is OOOWWWWW! Gawd that looks painful!

I could barely stand to watch that for 1 minute so I sure the heck would not want to have to watch it for an hour or more :0(

Acro Dunks was an absolutely fantastic act! They were amazing. Great entertainment

Oh my word that little 8 year old girl (Alisha?) played Proud Mary so well and even though Dabid Hasselhoff told her that her singing needs some work I think that she has the potential to be a great singer.

I loved the way that she said about how someone had to say “Noi” and she dealed with it.

OMG! They just advertised tThe Biggest Loser and anyone that knows me knows what a Biggest Loser addict I am. OH, I CANNOT wait to see the new season this Fall

Gma Lee was a hoot. She was very funny-wasn’t she?

Barbara Padillo was not what I expected and even though opera is not ,y kind of music she is really good and her cancer survival story was amazing

America;s Got Talent-July 1st 2009

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Just got home in time to see the performing arts girls dance their heart out. They wwere fabulous weren’t they?

They put a lot of work into their act and you could tell. When you have that many people and are trying to get them to all do their part at the right time anddo it right it is hard to pill it off like that.

Oh MY! Viva and her owner were WONDERFUL! I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when they came out but we were impressed by how well they danced together and all of the great tricks they performed. I can’t wait to see them the next time to see what they do.

I was a biyt surprised when the illusionist performed his act that David Hasselhoff was the hard one. He said about that there are a lot of people out there with a hard luck story right now- which is true- but I was still syrprised as it is usually Piers that is the hard a** like that and this time Piers was actually giving them the break that they were hoping for.

Circus R Us were pretty good as were Hurricane tricksters. How in the world do they do THAT?

The next person coming up doesn’t look like they are going to do very well but we shall see when they come back from commercial. We might be pleasantly surprised.

Ha! I thought that the breakdancer had looked on the previews last night like he was going to be really good. Yet the preview we saw before the commercial break made it look like he was going to be a screwup. Glad I thought about the preview we saw last night and realized that they were trying to trick us
